low cost counselling agency

Serving the local community of Langport and surrounding areas, we offer a low cost counselling service to people who would otherwise be unable to afford private counselling. This is made possible by offering placement opportunities to student counsellors undertaking counselling training at local training providers.

We charge just £25 for an initial assessment and following this, fees for counselling sessions range from £20-£40 per session with a trainee counsellor. We also liaise with qualified practitioners offering concessionary rates (ranging from £20-£50 per session) for clients who require a further level of support.

Sometimes a 'lack of experience' can be seen as a bad thing, however, research shows that trainees are perhaps some of the most self-reflective and supported practitioners, as they are constantly curious about how they are working, have a much smaller caseload and have lots of support through peers, tutors and agency managers!

We are proud to support trainees as it means we can then provide our community with much needed quality counselling, in an affordable way.
